How Old Is Jowita Przystał?
Jowita Przystał Age is 32 years old, having celebrated her birthday on 22 August 2026. Her birth date is consistently reported as 22 August 1994.
Readers may encounter older profiles describing her as 29, 30 or 31. Those ages can be correct for the dates when the articles were published. For an accurate current age, the birth date is more useful than an undated biography box.
Her career also shows how much professional experience can come before mainstream recognition. By the time she joined Strictly, she had already worked in competitive dance, international stage entertainment and television.
How Tall Is Jowita Przystał?
Jowita Przystał height is usually reported as 5 feet tall, equivalent to approximately 152.4 centimetres. Heart lists her at around 1.52 metres, while Donaheys gives a slightly shorter figure of 1.5 metres. The most careful description is therefore approximately 150–152 cm.
The small difference matters mainly when a biography presents one number as an exact, officially confirmed measurement. Neither profile should be treated as evidence of that level of precision.
On a dance floor, height is only one part of a partnership. Timing, balance, posture and coordination all influence how two dancers move together. Television footage is also an unreliable way to estimate someone’s height because footwear, camera angles and the person standing beside them affect appearances.
Where Is Jowita Przystał From?
Jowita Przystał was born in Kraków, Poland, and later developed her career in the United Kingdom. Smooth Radio reports that she began ballroom dancing at 12 and moved to the UK in 2019 after several years performing with Burn the Floor.
Her Polish background is an important part of her professional story. Before British audiences knew her through television, she and dance partner Michael Danilczuk represented Poland in competitions.
Their partnership produced a significant early achievement: they became Polish Open Latin Champions in 2014. That competitive foundation preceded the stage and television work that brought her wider recognition.
Her Career Before Strictly
From Competition to Burn the Floor
In 2015, Jowita moved away from competitive Ballroom and Latin dancing to join Burn the Floor. She remained with the touring production until her move to Britain in 2019.
That transition took her from dances assessed in competition to performance designed for theatre audiences. Both require technique, but stage work adds different demands: maintaining energy across a production, performing as part of an ensemble and communicating to spectators beyond the front row.
Her early career was therefore broader than preparation for one television programme. It combined competitive discipline with experience entertaining live audiences.
Winning The Greatest Dancer
Jowita and Michael Danilczuk won The Greatest Dancer in 2020, with Oti Mabuse as their mentor. The victory became a major step towards Jowita’s ambition of appearing on Strictly.
In a March 2026 interview with TresA Magazine, she recalled how meaningful the competition had been because the prize included an opportunity to perform on Strictly. She also described the standard of the other contestants as exceptionally high.
For viewers who discovered her later, this explains why she arrived on Strictly with an established television achievement already behind her.
When Did Jowita Join Strictly Come Dancing?
Jowita joined the professional cast of Strictly Come Dancing in 2021. She was announced alongside fellow newcomers Kai Widdrington, Nikita Kuzmin and Cameron Lombard.
She did not have a regular celebrity partner during that first series. Her first main-series celebrity partnership came the following year, when she danced with wildlife cameraman and presenter Hamza Yassin. This distinction explains why her 2022 victory is described as a win on her first attempt with a celebrity partner, despite her having joined the programme in 2021.
Winning With Hamza Yassin
Hamza and Jowita won the 2022 series, lifting the Glitterball Trophy after competing against three other couples in the final. Their victory established her as a winning professional early in her Strictly career.
Reflecting on the result in her TresA interview, Jowita emphasised Hamza’s hard work and the audience’s connection with their partnership. She also identified their final Showdance as a particularly meaningful expression of their journey together.
Her Other Celebrity Partners
Her subsequent main-series partnerships have included:
- Jody Cundy in 2023, the Paralympic champion.
- Pete Wicks in 2024, the television personality.
- Ross King in 2025, the television presenter.
- Lawrence Robb in 2026, the actor known for Emmerdale.
Each partnership brings a different teaching challenge. A professional must adapt routines to a celebrity’s experience, physical capabilities and confidence while preparing them for a live performance.
What Is Jowita Przystał Net Worth?
There is no reliably verified public figure for Jowita Przystał net worth in the sources reviewed for this article.
Although celebrity biographies may attach financial estimates to her name, a precise total would require evidence about her assets and liabilities. Her television visibility, competition victories and professional bookings do not provide that complete picture.
Net worth is also different from earnings. A performance fee is income; personal wealth depends on what remains after expenses and taxes, alongside savings, investments, property and debts.
For that reason, presenting a specific pound or dollar amount as an established fact would be misleading. The accurate answer is that her career is publicly documented, while her overall personal finances are not.
What Work Contributes to Her Career?
Her documented professional activities include television dancing, stage productions and teaching.
Donaheys features her in its dance-event programme, while her March 2026 interview discussed joining the Strictly The Professionals tour and her enjoyment of performing for live audiences. These sources establish professional engagements, but they do not disclose her individual fees or take-home earnings.
The same distinction applies to Strictly salary reports. General claims about what professional dancers earn cannot automatically be treated as the terms of Jowita’s own contract.
What Does She Say About Teaching?
In her TresA interview, Jowita described teaching as one of the aspects of Strictly she enjoys most. She spoke about supporting a celebrity partner and watching someone with little dance experience improve throughout the series.
That provides useful context for her role. Viewers see the finished routine, but the professional’s job also involves breaking down movements, correcting technique and helping a partner recover confidence after mistakes.
Her success is therefore about more than her own ability to perform. It also depends on communicating that knowledge to someone else under the pressure of a weekly competition.
Conclusion
Jowita Przystał’s career is defined by competitive dance, international performance and television success. At 32, the Polish dancer has already built a record that includes victories on both The Greatest Dancer and Strictly Come Dancing. Her height is reported at approximately 150–152 cm; her personal net worth remains unverified. For readers discovering her work, her performances and professional achievements offer the strongest account of her success.
